Slow Cooker Chow Chow Pork Loin
Now that you’ve made the chow chow from the previous post – or bought a jar, I’m not judging – I’ve got an awesome way to use it that isn’t relish. It will make a super easy meal in a slow cooker, and taste amazing.
I mean, its got all the right flavors to go with pork – cabbage, peppers, onion, mustard – so it just seems like a match made in heaven. And it totally is!
This is a two ingredient main course. Seriously. You’ll just put your pork loin into a slow cooker, and then dump in 1/2-3/4 of a pint of chow chow over it. How much is up to you and the size of your pork. That’s it. Set it on low for 6-8 hrs, or high for 4-6. Done.
Serve it with mashed potatoes (they taste really great with some of the juice spooned overtop.) and green beans, rice, or whatever other sides suit your fancy.
I don’t even think this needs a recipe card, because its that easy. And way more delicious than it has any right to be.
