Chocolate Chip Almond Blondies

If you are looking for a decadent dessert that will hit your need for an almond flavored sweet, then this is the thing you need to make!

These are super easy, and while I did each step – creamed my sugars and butter, added the eggs, creamed again, added the dry, mixed, and then folded in the chocolate chips – you could probably just dump everything except the chips in, beat it, and then mix in the chips.
If you wanted to switch things up a bit, you could sprinkle sliced almonds on top, add them into the batter, switch out the chocolate chips for white chocolate – any add in will work that makes you happy!
I may or may not have done that the second time I made them. I’d walk you through the recipe, but these are super easy. They will make a thick, moist cake in an 8″ x 8″ pan, but if you want a thinner blondie, make them in a 9″ x 9″ pan. Just make sure to start checking them for doneness a little sooner. I’d say around the 30 minute mark.

They are really good – give them a try!

Pour in chocolate chips and mix in with a spatula or wooden spoon.
